Will the old Hypnos continue to be included when there are updates to the Hypno engine?

All pi3 variants will no longer be supported. As described above.

So, just to confirm, a CM3 that’s been upgraded to a CM4S will still be able to receive updates?

Yes I tested this and cm4s is working w/ the power system since it doesn’t have the power hungry USB hub chip. It will not be an officially supported config but it will be possible to run the pi4 image on cm4s with future updates.

I will also be keeping an image for Composite NTSC of the pi4 image on the wiki to ease switching to composite since users where having trouble editing the config flies.

The caveat is that HDMI stops working when the composite is active so you will have to choose one or the other on any pi4 HypnoOS.
