Instable shape when RJ45 + webcam plugged

Hi,
I’m using the Hypno since few weeks and try different configuration and I do love it !
Except:
it’s on a rasp 3+, with a widiBud pro and a Mirabox Video Capture (usb-a) to get the source from resolume.
Everything worked fine until I tried to plug the RJ45 to get the signal in NDI
The shape is switching constantly beetween Source (pale green led) and shape (red led), and the hypno is very laggy.
Is there a conflict in the info transmitted through Ethernet ?
Thx

I updated to the last version, tried with a webcam logitech C920. Same issue

Hey @gyomh can you please drop some videos of what the unit and screen looks like with the issue you are having? I havent experienced this b4, if the shapes are switching on their own theres something truly strange going on or a large amount of noise being added to the PSU so the triggers are registering input somehow.

Overall sounds like you have a pretty complex use case going so I would definitely recommend just patching the video into the computer with a capture card anyway since compressing the NDI will inevitably slow your framerates.

Hi @SleepyRon here is a link to the video of the issue

The reason why I tried to use the NDI output is because patching the video in and out with capture cards produced a glitchy video after a while (not a controled glitchy effect)
The update resolved this issue.
Anyway, could also be nice to send the signal over ethernet !

Not sure but my guess from the video it looks like your capture into the Hypno turns off so maybe Ethernet is just too much power with all the other accessories.

I assure you using NDI will only result in worse video quality and lower framerate so I’d just stick to the capture card setup without the NDI. I haven’t been recommending that route since capture cards became so cheap.

thank you to your help, I’m using capture cards since the last update and it works well.
I will share my setting. Maybe some of you guys would be interested by the patch I made in Chataigne ?
