Is copying files across ethernet or wifi possible now, or is that a future enhancement? I tried to just log in to the PI but that didn’t work because I didn’t have a UN/password. I wasn’t sure what the wifi or eth connection was for otherwise.
Just allowing device / file system to be discoverable over wireless networks would be a big QoL thing for moving files onto / off of the device. One step at a time though.
Network connection is there so that you can do OTA updates and stream NDI (try streaming to your computer w ndi tools it’s pretty sweet). Go Settings->System Info ->Check for Update if the updater isn’t catching the latest release.
You can sftp into it with pi@hypno2.local / sleepy, or use a usb drive bc videos are big and the pi wifi antenna is some floppy black magic. Go crazy just try not to break anything.
This seems like a constructive direction though; i can look into setting up samba for the VIDOS-Resources folder that seems like it would be pretty great.
I haven’t tried this but u could also potentially even set up a Dropbox folder that syncs to Hypno 2 via the command line in the piOS
