New member here, greetings from Australia!
I just bought an old TV with a VGA input that accepts 480p. Hoping to use this to run Hypno on the CRT for rescanning. Iam havign trouble getting the TV/VGA card to pick up the signal. Admittedly I am using a cheap HDMI-VGA converter cable. Have any of you been converting to VGA from the HDMI out? If so, what are you using? Any tips?

The TV is PAL if that makes a difference. Are there output settings on the Hypno I might need to change? Chers
I think ive done this before just with an hdmi to vga cable. Check the cable is ok with a laptop or something else

hdmi-vga cable didn’t seem to work. i’ve found a decent converter, but I use a macbook which won’t output 480p (yawn).. anyway will borroew a pc laptop that outputs 480p natively today to test the connection.
still unsure exactly what resolution the hypno is putting out, if anyone has info on how to set hypno to output 720x480 over hdmi that would be awesome.
chatGPT tells me the standalone hypno onlky outputs 720p, but i don;t really trust it.
