I want to share the experience that for some Macs (in my instance iMac 2015 5k, macOs12.6.5) there seems to be an issue with balena etcher: When connecting Hypno to the mac, trying to flash the img file from the mac, balena etcher claims Hypno to be the source of the img file and can thus not be chosen as a target. I could solve this by using a different computer (macbook), where it worked fine (just taking many hours to flash). The issue can also be found in external forums, regarding other drives.
